No tools really needed to assemble, it brings the washers/screws and the L key. I used a drill to help assemble a little faster. Instructions kind of suck, but you will get it. All the pieces are labeled.
The only con is that the suction pieces for the glass top do not really suction to the table. I tried everything. (wetting it a little, applying pressure, etc)
