Completely agree with other reviews re: ease of assembly and GREAT style addition to my breakfast bar. Package was short 2 screws (8+2) but could not determine where they go (unless extras, which would be nice to have). Stool very stable in lower heights, a little wobbly when fully extended but you shouldnt be dancing on a chair anyway! Reason for 4/star rating is mostly the gas/driven hydraulic post it feels very sticky. I cant tell if it is operating properly, as it goes up and down but with much effort; up is much easier than down. Has anyone white/greased or WD/40d the post? I dont want it TOO smooth, just a little help. It might simply be a little dry from manufacturer.
Otherwise, these are stylish, visually appealing and comfortable seats that do in fact adjust and . Would not recommend for kids though (esp fully extended) as the base is not heavy enough to handle a little climber. :D
