The item came with all the hardware needed to assemble, plus a bag with extra pieces (extra screws, bolts, wooden dowels, etc) so if you lost something or something had been missing, you could still assemble the item! Everything fit together perfectly - I didnt have to modify or change anything. Instructions were well laid out and easy to read. There are a lot of steps, so be prepared to spend an hour or two for assembly if going it alone like I did. This exceeded my expectations for the price! I used it to put my old 73 inch Mitsubishi DLP TV on - it works great for it! .recommend
