Very sturdy, but more of an orange color and a thicker mattress hides a lot of the headboard
The bed is very sturdy and fairly easy to assemble. The negatives are that the metal looks more like an orange/gold color. Also, if you have a thick mattress, you can hardly see the headboard especially if you have throw pillows on it. It is higher off the ground than I expected, but that ended up working out great for storing my large suitcase under it.
