Missing a Couple of Holes Some Holes Too Small for Provided Screws
The TV stand looks great w/ the modifications I made. The instructions were easy to follow. Heres where I ran into a few issues:
1. There were some holes that were missing. When I was aligning the top shelf, there were two screws that didnt have holes drilled into the wood. I ended up removing these screws, and that allowed me to secure the shelf into the other holes.
2. A few holes did not line up with the wood pegs. There werent any other options on the side to place the wood pegs, and I double checked the instructions to ensure the pegs had been properly placed. I ended up removing the wood pegs that didnt have a hole that aligns, and that worked out. My only concern is the overall sturdiness of the connection the side panel has to the rest of the TV stand.
3. I ran into an issue where the provided screws for one step were too long for the holes that were drilled. I took a trip to Home Depot and purchased shorter screws. They went into the wood perfectly.
Overall, the couple of screws + wooden pegs I had to remove dont seem to compromise the overall structure of the TV stand. I will need to be mindful of what is placed on top of the stand since the stand isnt as secure as it should be.
