After owning two very nice homes in my life, I chose to give it all up for a more simple life. From a 3k sqft home down to a 1k quaint townhouse apartment has been the best decision in my middle aged life. The second best decision was purchasing this fireplace tv stand! This thing is very cool, looks great, and perfectly sized. Even though it is your standard particle board construction, it is sturdy and solid. It took me about 2 hours to put it together but another 2 hours to transfer all my equipment. Gave me a chance to tidy up the wires, etc. Which is another good thing about this piece. Because the fireplace insert is only about 6 inches deep, there is about 1.5 sqft of space behind it to organize all your cords, wires, and power strip stuff.
I definitely recommend this. I spent a couple of days researching fireplace tv stands and am very happy with my choice.
