Was on the fence about the product but just moved into an apartment with almost no closet space bought 2 of them. One came damaged with a broken component but was able to quickly fix though seller. They took some time to put together but happy with the results have more space for clothes. I don't think that if one were to move with them they can survive but if you leave them after you put them where you want they can last
