For the price, this recliner is not bad. The upholstery is decent quality and after five months of use is wearing well. However, because this is a high leg recliner, the leg rest seems to be designed for very short people. The weight of my legs on the footrest hits at the middle of my calves, so my lower legs and feet dangle off the edge, and my circulation is cut off. The little extension that hides underneath the larger leg rest and flips out as the chair is reclined is actually inches lower, so it does not support my legs beyond mid calf. This is very uncomfortable. When I am out of the chair, I can move the back rest all the way down, but when I am in the chair it is impossible to lower the back beyond a slightly inclined position. Because this recliner has a kick back mechanism, I had to add rubber coasters under the feet to prevent the chair from flying backwards accords my ceramic tile floor by several feet as I pushed back to lift the foot rest. So, close, but no cigar. I am going to have to buy another, more comfortable chair and use this one as a spare.
