The bed frame is pretty nice. It was a slight struggle putting together, mostly with attaching the slats for beneath the mattress. A third were slightly warped, only enough that snapping them in was a struggle. But i got them in after a few trys. With the angle of some of the bolt locations, it made screwing them in fully difficult. The main frames bars are okayed size, i feel for being the main skeleton of the frame they could be a tad thicker. But the smaller ones supporting the main frame are fairly thin. But it seems to hold her and her mattress just fine. Tho Id say no jumping.
The ladder is a bit awkward with its size and angle.
The main concern on the frame (and i may just be a worried mom) is the height of the sides bordering the mattress. The mattress i got, i cant remember the height of it, was one it recommended to pair it with. The rails just barely rise above the mattress. Bout the width of my palm give or take. So for children who roll easier, may roll over the side if they move hard enough. Its not a far drop but still. Honestly, i know how my daughter sleeps and she have been sleeping in beds like this for 4 years and is used to it. Even with that she has a body pillow she places on that border that is thick enough that she would physically have to climb it.v
My daughter loves it
