I cannot get over the quality of this item for this low price. I was expecting to return it. I am in LOVE with this item. I hope it is available in the future when my youngest gets older.
I read a ton of reviews saying that the bed made noise and such after some time. Maybe that depends upon the childs weight and activities? My son is small and thin and we have been using this bed for over a month and not a squeak. Also, did not have to retighten any pieces. I saw some reviews earlier that mentioned things coming loose early on.
I am not handy and this took me about 1.5 hours to put together. I love how much space is underneath. I have basically all of my sons toys underneath it and made it fun but convenient. My apartment had toys in every corner now my son had it all in one place. I also bought pool noodles as others showed in their pictures because it is safer. Particularly the ladder. Im a heavy woman and holy f/ trying to step on that ladder without a pool noodle felt like I could pop my plantar fascia.
My son would not stop co sleeping and since this bed appeared he is happy to go into his cool fort bed .
