Packaged securely and instructions were easy to follow. I laid everything out on a sheet on the floor in my living room to put together. No tools required other than the one it came with.
I am very happy with this kitchen island as it fits all my pots and pans, pot holders, and kitchen towels (and I have too many kitchen towels). Gives me extra work space when preparing meals. I only installed the towel rack as I have limited space. But once you put it together you cannot change the position of the towel or spice rack without having to dismantle the cart again. So plan ahead of time if you want both spice rack and paper towel rack ( or use it just for a dishtowel). and which side you want it to be on.
I did buy the extra insurance and glad I did. I noticed that the wood top has a slight split in it.( a seam where the Wood was prepared with other pieces) So I will notify them of it just incase it increases. As it is now, it does not affect its use and may never change. That was the only thing I am concerned about.
