The task of assembly seemed a bit daunting initially, but all the pieces were there and the instructions were simple and clear. The package of screws did break open in transit, but nothing was lost.
This was definitely a 2 person job, but it took less than 2 hours and was easy enough to have fun with the project. We hit a snag with one post being drilled improperly. We had to go back and loosen some screws to get the foot board connected, but it was an easy adjustment and smooth sailing from there. The plastic snaps to stabilize the mattress supports seem a bit weak and a couple came broken, but extras were included.
The bed itself is stable and doesnt creak under the weight of myself and my large dogs (who add an extra 200lbs of weight). I specifically purchased this bed frame because the canopy is composed of wider beams than the other metal frames available. I havent hung a canopy yet, but Im confident it wont bend or damage the frame. I am very satisfied and would absolutely recommend this frame to others.
