If you build this bed, leave it in one place and never move it, it should be just fine. Moving it once its assembled is going to destroy it. I added bracketing and supports to the headboards and bed rails like many others have, and it improves the strength of the bed immensely. Just scroll through the reviews and youll find many people that have taken the time to reinforce the frame with great results. Make sure you get this bed 100 squared up on each corner or you will have issues with drawers not closing right. I averted most of those issues because I took the time beforehand to make sure everything was square and true. One suggestion though, once you get the drawers in, if you notice one might be a little higher or lower than the others, just move a couple of the drawers around. Makes a big difference. With a little work, this bed is a great value for the price.
