Ive used this brand and this particular type of cushion for years and can report confidently that they do not fade even in blazing sun, all summer by the pool. They dont get dirty because nothing sticks to them. They have a somewhat plastic-like feel thats a little uncomfortable in the heat, but thats a small matter when you consider that they dont lose their loft. They stay nice and fluffy and remain soft and comfortable. They dry very quickly and never stick to the furniture, and they dont soak up water like sponges as some of my other outdoor cushions do. The rainwater seems to drain through.
However, I just returned this cushion for two reasons. One, it didnt fit my bench (not their fault) BUT ALSO the color was completely wrong. I had recently bought the loveseat size. Both cushions were ordered in the color taupe but they didnt match at all. This one, the bench/swing cushion, was much much darker than the loveseat cushion and contained some greenish tones when viewed from certain angles. Theres no way I could have fooled anybody into thinking that they were a matching set. The new bench/swing cushion is on its way back to where it came from.
The new loveseat cushion matches my old taupe chair cushions and throw piillows, also in taupe, which were bought in 2014 and have not faded a bit. Nor are they warped or showing much wear. Im happy with all the previous things Ive bought. This latest purchase seems to be a freak.
