Bed arrived in a long flat (very heavy) box that was in perfect shape and very well taped up and secure, from the box we knew there there would be no shipping damage. Laid the box flat on the floor in the space where it would be set up and opened and removed the headboard. Once the headboard was out, it was fine to get rid of all the packaging and boxes because on the back side of the headboard, there was a big sign that said Were in here! and a zipper going all the way around. Unzipped, and all bed-building components were tucked inside, perfectly arranged. Instructions are clear, mainly large pictures, and on a large sheet so each step is pictured in like a 4x4 box, and just suuuuuper simple. Its worthwhile to note that any instruction or communication from the manufacturer was very clear and written by a human for a human in the vernacular youd expect if talking to a human. It was meaningful to us, and made the experience better. Its already frustrating to have to be assembling a huge piece of furniture, and it was nice to not have the frustration compounded by poor instruction, poor packaging, and poor communication which sadly, has become the norm. Last thing: the bed slats. Amazing. They come in 2 sets, and each set of slats is connected one to the other by velcro/cloth strips. The velcro secures to more velcro along where youll place the slats. Thats so the slats are placed and spaced perfectly and so that they never move. Pretty pro in my book. Great job. Bonus: We also got the mattress from these folks, and its just about perfect.
Best bed buying/putting together experience EVER
