Purchased this for when we moved to our new home. Had a very expensive memory foam mattress but hated the frame that came with it. My husband assembled alone after moving all day.he did go to Home Depot and bought an Alan wrench adapter for his drill. He made multiple comments about how much sturdier this metal frame is. He is a big guy and sturdy furniture is important. Love the elegant look too.
Was very reluctant to buy when I read the bed bug reviews, but used common sense. Both reviews mentioned being in new apartments. I would blame an apartment that had been slept in before a new headboard that had not. We have had for a month and definitely no bed bugs. Would buy again!
