As other reviews have mentioned, the bed is really sturdy once youve gotten it together!
It took me about 3-4 hours by myself.
A few negatives for me were:
* One of the boxes came damaged. Luckily, the pieces themselves were fine.
* One of the pieces had no label on it, so I had to figure out which one it was through process of elimination.
* A piece of paper in Box 2 said this is box 2 of 3, but I only received two boxes. This left me frustrated for a bit until I saw another review saying the Queen kit only has two boxes.
* I made a mistake near the end thinking one of the pieces was symmetrical when it wasnt. This prevented me from putting the beam near the head. I cant really fix it without tearing it all apart, which will be a project for another day. Thats my mistake but I feel like the instructions could have been better here.
* One of the holes is misaligned so I couldnt put one of the screws in that connects the two pieces together near the head as well.
* One of the punch-in threads came out attaching the foot to the right side.
* The flat boards that you place on top dont cover the entire frame. Not sure if theyre supposed to? Seems like they should.
Despite these issues, I decided to call it a day, plop my mattress on top and rest. Its sturdy and Im happy to have the storage. But with the poor organization and some quality control issues, I have to give it a 3/5.
Damaged Box. Unlabeled Pieces. Incorrect Instructions.
