This queen sized bed frame is a great value for your money. When unboxing; I suggest laying out all of the pieces first and then using a padded tape (I used the non slip mat material for kitchen cabinets) on the contact points (where the bars cross or touch) to keep the frame from squeaking. I also would like to recommend using your own Allen wrench because the ones provided can bend. Also make sure to really tighten everything down to add to the sturdiness of the frame. I have a inner spring mattress and it works very well with this frame. However the frame doesnt stop the mattress from sliding normally so Ill most likely add a texture tape to the supporting bars to help stop the sliding. Once put together the frame is very nice and is pretty easy to move around. The color I purchased is black/silver and its exactly as it sounds. The frame is hollow and its textured to kinda resemble an iron wrought design.
