Like many people, I was hesitant to purchase furniture online. To my surprise this bed is exactly what my 8 year old daughter needed. The is sturdy in the right places and isnt completely particle board. It was easy to assemble. All pieces were included and i think this will last her until her pre teens. The only thing I would change is adding another piece of in the bed center for additional support. If that were included Id get in the bed with her to read stories.
