This is a really cool entertainment center, but I have a few problems with it:
First, it arrive damaged; to me that was not deal breaker, but paying good money for an item with damage always rubs the wrong way. I removed the damaged spot (on one of the four legs; its made from layers of thick cardboard/like material) and kind of made it lie as flush with the outside as possible. I then used a couple of the wood/looking stickers that go with the stud lock screws.
Second, some of the pieces dont fit that nicely. This is also a minor thing for me.
Finally, the assembly will take longer than a buyer might think. Specifically the instructions suggest that wood glue should be used on the wooden dowels of which there are several on nearly every piece. Seriously, it took me at least 20 minutes gluing and wiping away excess glue. I went step by step as the instructions indicated. I would recommend to a buyer that they find the dowels and wood glue (included, which is nice) within the packaging and take each piece and glue the dowels into their holes before assembly. Also, the screws for the magnetic strip that holds the doors shut were NOT pre/drilled, and the screws the instructions said were for that part were impossible for me to screw directly into the wood using only a screw driver. I used a drill with a 5/64 drill bit and drilled into the wood about a half inch and forced the screw the rest of the way.
Overall I think I spent 2.5/3 hours total assembling it.
I really like the look of it, and most of the minor blemishes (more than those I mentioned) are not that bad to me. Its going in a room that is not that well lit so unless someone wants to go over it with a fine tooth comb, itll work. Hopefully yours comes in better condition and that this review saves you some time.
Power tools should not be used. Right
