This chair is smaller than I expected. The color is pleasing and the fabric is soft and attractive. My husband (62, 210 lbs) said hes afraid to sit on it lol! I too feel as if it might give way. I guess it boils down to the old adage, You get what you pay for.
Its fine in a guest room or area of the house where it wont be used often.
