We have had this sofa for almost a year now and I love it! I wanted something fun and feminine for our office. It has been used almost daily but still looks new. This is a firm couch so I would recommend adding a throw pillow if you want something softer to lay your head on. I attached pictures of the legs and how the supports for the bed work since I couldnt find much about that when I purchased it. The supports fold up and zip into the back of the couch so from behind the couch doesnt look aming. Our sofa is against a wall so the zippers dont bother me, but I wouldnt like it if the back were visible. We have had a guest sleep on the futon folded out to a bed and she said it worked well. I did put a quilted mattress protector under the fitted sheet she used to add a little more padding. For a taller person, it might be wise to remove the arm of the sofa before laying down to sleep
