Im writing this review in the context that this is a very inexpensive couch - so keep that in mind. Like a lot of you are probably doing right now, I spent FOREVER looking for the right loveseat for my small space and finally settled on this one. Im happy with the purchase overall - but here is a breakdown:
GOOD: The color is exactly as shown, which was a relief. The packaging is compact and smart - there are even plastic-lined handles on the box to make it easier to move. I needed help to get the box down the stairs, but overall it was pretty easy to handle. This couch is sinky - which is exactly what I was looking for. I imagine its too sinky for many people, but I cant stand that stiff couch feel. I find this to be much more comfortable than other similarly priced couches.
BAD: While the assembly is pretty straightforward, the construction of the pieces is extremely shoddy. The holes for the bolts and the tracks for the arms were not carefully measures on mine, which means the couch is slightly off-kilter. Its not super noticeable, but pretty ridiculous. It also made it really hard to get the last couple pieces together. Im not expecting artisan craftsmanship on a cheap couch, but maybe some form of quality control? Also, while I like that its a sinky couch, it sinks A LOT in the middle. You know that feeling when you sit down on the toilet without realizing the seat was left up and you have that moment of panic as you fall ass first into the water bowl? Yeah - that. But why would you sit in the middle when there are two perfectly good cushions indicating where to put your butt? Sit on those, youll be fine.
Overall, its a good piece for what it is. A great alternative to . Pro tip - keep all the packaging and pieces as organized and intact as possible until you build the frame - that way it will be easier to repackage and return if your construction is off like mine. Unfortunately, once I got to that part, I was too invested and had already broken down the packaging so I decided to keep it.
Comfy, Nice Look, Shoddy Construction
