The bed looks as described assembly was easy for the most part. Love the look however the head board is slightly too low so you cannot see half of it, it is covered by our mattress. The shipping wasnt great and multiple bars were bent when it got to us. There was no noticable damage to the packaging so not sure if that was due to the producer or a shipping problem. We were able to make due and get it together. It is very sturdy and does not squeak at all.
