This was a gift to my son who lives 1400 miles away. I was nervous about what the quality of the unit would be buy was elated when my son called after assembling it. He said it is a very nice and sturdy unit and that his children, who are somewhat roughnecks, love it and their rough housing has had no bad affects on the bed.
