Finally an affordable adjustable bed that just works
Easy to assemble, looks good, not loud smooth operation. Performs just fine and is half the price of the name brand ones that have less functions. Having said that, those functions were pretty gratuitous to me and I wouldnt buy the bed based on having those, but rather just the fact that it is cheaper than the name brand ones for what they are.
For instance, the Serta remote just has head and foot up/down buttons / this one has a bunch of presets. However, I didnt find the presets useful, and in fact they didnt always seem to go to the same level (when the bed was in a lounge position and I put it to TV position it seemed to not go up a whole lot and I ended up putting it higher manually, but when it was totally flat and I went to TV position it went way too high and I had to lower it.). TV position isnt really where I want it for TV, and lounge/zero/g positions are practically the same thing and not much better than flat.
The USBs are perhaps a good idea, but they are only on one side and like other reviewers, I found this to be the side that wasnt beneficial to have them on. Plus when I put the bed in between the frame that I already had, it sat too low even with the longest legs such that the USB ports were covered by the frame making it impossible to plug anything in. I turned on the massage feature one time and thought wow this thing is loud and doesnt seem to do much. There are two pads (center of the head area and center of the foot area) that vibrate violently, but to me this does not make for much of a massage and its not right under you unless one person sits right in the middle of the whole bed / but again the name brand beds dont even have this feature save for the super top of the line models.
A few issues initially. One of the legs was super hard to install because the threaded hole was crooked and the bold wanted to cross thread so it took me twenty minutes of persuasion to get it to work. The face plate for the USB ports was broken presumably in shipping, but I didnt care too much because like I said the ports arent useful and are covered anyway. Also previously mentioned, the presets dont seem to work quite right. These are the reasons it is not five stars.
I would still buy again and recommend to others because lets be real here, you arent going to constantly be adjusting it or using all the features / that gets old super quick. We havent touched the setting in at least a month. But for what it is it is great. It doesnt drift down or anything where you have to preposition it over time and the base doesnt move out of place or anything like that, it just works / and it costs half as much as its competitors. So dont buy it for the USB ports or the presets, or the massage feature. Buy it because its exactly what youre in the market for and nothing more / and adjustable bed that is reasonably priced.
