I bought this book shelf the day after it was released on . No reviews at the time of purchasing. I’m usually big on reading reviews and looking looking at all of the photos that reviewers post but I actually have a decent amount of furniture from this brand, and I haven’t had any issues so I figured I would take the risk, and just return it if it didn’t work out. Originally I had thought an allen wrench wasn’t provided— but it was disguised in the bag with the long screws. It was pretty easy to put together, instructions were easy to follow although I am quite experienced in putting together and Ikea furniture. I really like this! I’m glad I purchased. Happy I took the risk to purchase without the reviews. I do very much recommend using the anti tip kit, as the height of it does make it slightly unstable. There are also small pegs that attach to the legs to help with leveling it out but since mine is on carpet, I omitted them entirely to give it more balance. The pegs were a bit small and I felt they would definitely work better on a solid floor.
