I loved my all metal bed frame before, i got it for $150 and its almost perfect. after 4 years, its still just as good as day 1. This new one is a different story....
The only reason i bought this is because i wanted something that looked nice.... like a real bed frame. however, i still wanted the metal frame!! (not a flimsy metal frame, not a cheap wooden frame, a proper sturdy metal frame which the old one was)
I bought 2 of these, both different headboard styles.
The first one took me approx 30mins to assemble, and it was just what i expected from . unsure how itll stand up over time, but well see. The first one was as promised. Good quality slats, and all metal frame...
This one.... is not a proper metal frame.
The crossbars and legs in the middle are metal sure! the rest is WOOD! CHEAP WOOD! (the side pieces that hold up the slats.... are completely made out of wood unlike what is promised and what i received on my other one)
The first one, everything that supported weight was metal! this one, it seems they wanted to save money and use the cheapest wood possible!!
Screwing this thing together, i could hear the wood cracking while the bolt was still half visible!!
The slats on the first one seemed of decent quality and did not flex too much, they were sturdy. i was happy with them.
The slats on this one were horrible garbage!! if i push on them even a little bit, they might just crack...... useless.
extremely upset that this one was more expensive, and i was given cheap parts.
please fix your quality control, or state that cheap wood is used in some of these..... i would have bought 2 of the other.
