REMOVE THE RED PLASTIC CAP FROM HYDRAULIC CYLINDER if not then the seat will not raise or lower.
paper work that came with chair was lacking in basic instructions regarding removal of red plastic cap that is on hydraulic cylinder . chair will not raise / lower until this is done .
