it went together easily, within 30 min. my husband had it together.the round edge is great because I have already bumped my knee on the edge several timesno pain.glad it is a round edge.that is a plus!! did not have to buy box springs.I put my new purple mattress on it. works greatalso, it is tall enough I can store boxes of out of season clothing under it.
