We bought this bed for our 2-year-old daughter after she had climbed and fallen out of her crib. We like how the mattress directly sits on the floor so its easy and safe for my daughter to get in and out of the bed. The frame is not the sturdiest and glides on the wood floor, but that is expected and could probably be fixed by placing a rug/rug pad underneath. We painted the frame white to match other furniture. The original color is a very beautiful primed, natural wood color. The frame was easy to put together. It took me and my husband about an hour with him figuring out what to do and me just holding up the pieces for him.
Customer service was great! One of the wood slats came defective. We contacted the seller and they shipped out a replacement the next day.
My daughter LOVES the bed and always says that her dad built a house for her! We decorated the bed with some ball string lights. My daughter loves to lay in bed and look at the lights for a bit before she falls asleep. This is a fun bed for kids! nice purchase!
