First of all, this chair is large. It comes in a giant box the size of a small couch but it's well protected and my chair had no damage at all when I received it. The chair is much larger than I expected, but that's my fault for not studying the dimensions. I don't have a huge living room but that's ok because this fits perfectly in our theater area, which consists of a couch and some chairs tastefully arranged around a projector screen. The grey fabric has an almost yellow tinge to it, but it goes nicely with the brass colored legs. The legs might seem dated at first, but they fit in well with other mid-century modern furniture and I have a lot of brass fixtures and items in my home so it looks great. The legs are nice and thick and bolt on with included allen screws. If the color bothers you, you could always spray paint them silver. They are just painted metal legs. The legs do have plastic discs on the bottom so they won't scratch wood or stone flooring when moved around.
The size of this chair is my favorite feature. It's huge and even a taller person can fit their whole body in the chair and sit in it comfortably, almost like sitting in a padded box. That sounds weird but it's actually super comfortable and really great for watching TV or movies, or reading a book. Of course, you can sit in the chair normally as well, and this chair did come with the 2 round pillows that are shown in the Sofa listing, but not in any of the photos for the chair. I'm not sure if that was a mistake but I like them as the chair is much too wide for any normal sized person, so they give a little side support when sitting in the chair.
This chair would look great with the matching sofa. It's a mix between modern and vintage and has a classic look to it while not seeming old or dated. The fabric is high quality and the chair feels solid. This seems like a chair that is going to last, and I really like the cube shape of the chair. This is probably my favorite piece to date. Other pieces haven't looked as good in person or have been damaged in shipping, but this is a really nice living room chair that my whole family loves because it's so comfortable to sit in.
