Love this bed. Its the height of a regular frame and I bought a really thick mattress so its now kinda tall for me but Im also only 51. My lighting is low in my room so it looks really dark but its charcoal color. Also I would see more headboard with a regular thickness mattress. It was easy to put together. I did it myself in about a hour.
