It was easy to put together and is sturdy. I had to help my hubby hold up pieces as he screwed it together. But other wise he said he could have done it with his eyes closed. My daughter loves that she has a little area to play in under her bed as well. So its a win win for us. You know we all need that extra storage especially after Christmas and this bed definitely helped with that!
