I love this furniture item. We have a very dark kitchen and it doesn't even have window so we always hate going in there. I bought this item to give us more storage and to place on a huge wall with nothing on it at all. We truly love it and it is the best purchase I have made.
Side note: It does come with 1000 pieces and it took my husband a couple of hours to put it together because of the way the pieces are labeled they are not correct in the direction or spot that you you them. Also, he followed the directions for the top piece and he was adding the last piece and all of them came apart because the instructions were wrong and had to start over.
