I needed a chair that was supportive for my back, comfortable, durable, attractive, and wide enough for me to sit with both my legs crossed under me (used to be called Indian style) -- which is how I like to sit when playing video games.
This chair works perfectly. It was also relatively easy to assemble. NOTE: HARDWARE IS IN ZIPPERED COMPARTMENT INSIDE SEAT CUSHION (I mention this for the benefit of other reviewers saying hardware was missing).
One possible defect is what appears to be uneven stuffing in the seat cushion, which makes the row of buttons on the back appear to be uneven (see photo). I think this will level out over time.
Also, theres something odd about the legs. At each of the 4 bottom corners there is a cheap ugly piece of gray felt semi-attached with something sticky, I suppose to prevent the chair from scratching the floor. However underneath those little grey felt squares (which I had to reposition because some were coming off) is a hole! Its almost as though this chair was intended to have feet...which would have been much nicer, and would have raised the chair up an inch or two also. It does sit a little low.
For the price, I dont think I could have gotten anything that met my needs any better.
Almost perfect
