My daughter was begging for a bunk bed. We thought the junior bed was a better option and ended buying 2, one for each kid. After assembling the bed we realized my son was a bit too young for such a bed so were storing it until hes old enough. My daughter loves her new bed and she has a lot more extra play space. We were able to fit an bookcase underneath. For small homes/rooms in which extra space is vital, this is a good purchase. It took us a few hours to put together but we are very satisfied with our purchase.
