I was really disappointed to find that the support board that extends between the two sides of the unit was cracked and broken in the middle upon unpacking this. It comes in a huge box with minimal packing material - I cannot believe that the one vulnerable piece is the one thing NOT protected by cushioning of any kind. Im quite sure I am not the first or last to experience this. Fortunately, the support board isnt entirely necessary and the unit does stand on its own very well and stable without it. No one can see that its damaged, as its at the bottom and up against the wall; it just sucks that it didnt arrive intact - but it is what it is. The quality otherwise is great - just beware when ordering that it may come with this defect unless decides to do a rethink on how they support this piece in transit.
