I will start with the cons as there aren't many, first this is more a cream color than grey but I figured that before I bought it, so not really disappointed just something to keep in mind. Second this is kind of expensive for having plastic drawers. The plastic is pretty thick and durable, but still plastic, one sharp corner and you will have a hole, the upside is that there is a metal cross frame under the plastic so if it becomes a problem you could cut some plywood to fit and insert it. Since this is potentially fixable it's not a deal breaker for me but you would think that they could include something more durable as the base of the drawer at least.
Now for the pros, and there are a lot more than cons, it looks great! So pleased with how it came out, it took a while to put together, like most of the day, but I was doing it slowly to ensure it was done right and mostly by myself, just my 12 year old daughter to help, which you can probably guess wasn't much help, lol. No power tools needed, just an Allen wrench which is included, very simple and well organized instructions. Everything was packaged well and nothing was damaged, though the box is heavy. it has a metal frame that connects all the pieces and it feels very sturdy put together. I read some reviews that didn't like the slats, too flimsy, they do seem like they could break but all mine were intact and we installed them easily and so far they have held up, it feels like they give the mattress nice support. I really like the way the drawers have wheels and secure to the bed frame, it can be a little awkward to unhook them if you are on the bed but nothing too difficult and it gives the mattress a nice frame so it stays in place. Everything considered I am very pleased with this purchase but time will tell how everything holds up.
