It does look nice assembled, but it doesnt feel or seem weighted enough to be real wood. The slats are held together with velcro to hold them to frame instead of screws. The center metal rod is not heavy duty and one of the center posts is actually shorter than the others, so having to shim it. I dont expect it to last more than a month before it breaks altogether
