Just couldn't bring myself to spend $800 or more for a chair when you shouldn't be sitting that much anyway. This is a big improvement to my older home office chair, and probably better than my chair at work. Good support. The 'hard' seat is personal preference. Certainly not harder than my Allroad I traded a while back. The assembly one-pager is a little amusing in translation. No reference to left right on the illustration but its your left right while sitting. 'Shim' is a horrible translation for washer, but it's just a few screws and washers and you're good. There is a plastic/fabric smell. I'd open up the seat in particular and let it air if you smell sensitive.
