I was relying on the measurements posted to be correct, but the width and depth were reversed in both the picture and description. The width from arm to arm is about 28 across and the depth from the front of the seat to the center back of the back is about 35 in depth. The wing back is 5 deeper than the back of the armrest because of the design. I was not expecting such a deep chair with a narrow seat. Most likely I will have to return it as I calculated based on the posted measurements. Its cute and comfy, just wish the measurements would have been correct so I didnt have to deal with a return. The box is bulky and I managed to get it to the second floor myself but the box does state that 2 people should be lifting it.
