I purchased this futon 1. because I loved the color 2. because when I pushed the 360 button, it showed the back in the same fabric as the front. WRONG- the back is a cheaper black fabric. I bought this based on the information you supplied,. and am very disappointed. This futon is free standing in my room, not against a wall. My purchase was based upon the pictured, finished back.
