When we pulled it out of the box we started noticing that a lot of the wooden posts had significant cracks in them. It was more cosmetic versus anything else but for the several hundred dollars we paid for the bed it was way more than what was acceptable. In addition it took us more time to put together then I would like to admit. Now that it is up though I love it and it will work great and my girls room. Whens completely assembled it is very sturdy Well made and packaged.
