A lot of people are saying they needed to drill extra holes. I found out the issue/ so it seems the manufacturer thought it would look more seamless if the holes were only on 3 poles since the pole on the short end of the ladder does not require those holes. If you are seeing that it seems you need to drill extra holes/ really you only need to switch the poles around. However, that would require you to do a lot of work unassembling and reassembling. Overall, great product either way. Study and smells nice. I would buy again!
