Just as described So happy I finally replaced my metal bed frame on wheels with a real bed frame. Product is exactly as described, went together easily, good instructions and labeling. Packed perfectly to arrive without any damage. Both the paint and wood itself are distressed. Wood side panels are not completely smooth, the finish is a little uneven for a rustic look. The paint is sort of a whitewash with minimal dark accent paint. In my case I wanted solid white to match the rest of the furniture so I painted it. I am happy to have solid wood and it looks great.
