A bit smaller than our King size Novaform mattress. The mattress doesnt really sit down inside the platform. I love the look of this bed and it is very sturdy but Im a little unhappy that its just a little to small to fit my new mattress. Putting it together was not easy. The instructions are crap! But we eventually figured it out and got it together in about 2 hours. I hate that the seller went with FedEx ground! They refused to deliver it on the first attempt. I hate FedEx!!!! Its worth every penny. Smart buy.
