Great table and chairs set for the price point. It was to assemble. The instructions were very clear so long as you follow the illustrations and read them completely. My knees hit the upper shelf as Im seated at the table, but thats what Id expect from a 36 top. I have mine sitting upon a 5 diameter round rug. I will be upgrading to a 7 diameter rug to fit the chairs properly while sitting on them. I like the color blend of brown and black. It complemented the rest of my decor enough that I wont shed a tear! Our first meal was meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and green beans. It was so awesome to not be sitting on a poofy couch, hunched over a rickety tv tray for dinner. The cats love the shelves.
