You have to be wound putting it in. It definately helps extend standby time for automatic watches.
Like the case very much. It extends my standby time when rotating use of automatice watches; I have a Powermatic 80, an Oupinke and a Citizen. If I use them in daily shifts, they never run down.
I have a normal sized wrist and use 40mm or less watches. I have to use an adjustment pillow on the Tissot and Oupinke. The older Citizen Gyromatic 39mm is a perfect fit. It comes with an removable adjustment band for smaller watches.
Very nice; Elegent and very quiet. Thanks, DSL very stable.
