Beautiful and comfortable, but leather not sealed and discolors badly right off the package
I dreamed of this sofa for months, waited for it to get back in stock for months, got rid of my antique sofa to make space for it—only to discover LESS THAN 24 HOURS AFTER DELIVERY that the leather is NOT sealed/colorfast and discolors badly with no apparent reason.
I might have gotten a lemon, but I would encourage all buyers to wet a paper towel slightly and rub an inconspicuous area of the sofa UPON DELIVERY before deciding whether to keep it or not.
I dont how my brand new sofa got its discoloration stain (sweat? water?), but the more I wiped the stain with water, the more the leather tint came out... (see pics)
assured me that I got a NEW sofa (not a used one), and they were very gracious in taking it back and refunding me. But Im out of pocket $70+ (white-glove delivery + tip), and I have nowhere to sit. Not a happy camper...
If thats the quality of genuine leather these days, I might as well get faux leather...
